Cedric Laborde-Boutet Ph.D., P.Eng

Cedric completed his education in France (Masters from Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine in 2003, PhD from Universite de Poitiers in 2006) in the area of industrial chemistry. He then joined Universite Laval from 2007 to 2009 as a post-doctoral fellow before moving to the University of Alberta as a researcher from 2009 to 2017.

Over the past ten years, he has developed expertise in multiple technical fields (liquid-phase adsorption, CFD, molecular representations, heavy oil reactions and fouling) through a variety of projects in partnership with oil industries. In the recent years, his studies were focused on the in situ visualization of the phase behavior of oil samples under refinery process conditions. Cedric joined Coanda Edmonton in April 2017 to contribute to experimental research activities in the field of chemical engineering.
