Scientist
Sepehr obtained his M.Sc in Engineering Physics from university of Saskatchewan in 2013 in the field of “plasma physics” where he developed a plasma sputtering system in an Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) machine for coating Diamond-Like Carbons (DLC) on biomedical prostheses to improve the bio-compatibility of these prostheses. Also have extensive experience in material characterization techniques including various synchrotron X-ray spectroscopy in Canadian Light Source (CLS), scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy.
He brings over 3 years of experience in design and manufacturing of various ionizing radiation detection instruments, electrical design, firmware and software programming, and instruments troubleshooting.
He joined Coanda Edmonton in 2018.
