With over 16 years of experience in the CAE industry, Bhanu Gupta has worked in various roles, including subject matter expert (SME), technical support engineer, and people manager. His career has spanned multiple industries, physics, and applications.
Before joining Coanda’s Burnaby team in 2025, Bhanu served as the Technical Support Manager at ANSYS India, overseeing Fluids Technical Support across India, ASEAN, and ANZ regions. He led technology growth initiatives, managed technical teams, and acted as a subject matter expert (SME) for Acoustics, Heat Transfer, and Rotational Flows. His contributions included developing best practices, conducting validation studies, creating application examples, and providing global knowledge solutions. Additionally, he was the APAC lead for the latest technology developments, offering feedback to the product development team in Acoustics and GPU areas.
Beyond technology development, Bhanu engaged in business activities such as technical support account management and delivering technical webinars across different geographies. Early in his career, he co-founded a cloud startup for academia, which was a challenging and enriching experience.
Bhanu holds a master’s degree in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, and has been dedicated to the field of computational fluid dynamics ever since.
