Ehsan Zaman Ph.D.
Scientist
Dr. Ehsan Zaman joined Coanda’s Burnaby office in 2018 bringing with him several years of experience in computational modelling of natural and industrial fluid dynamics phenomenon and problems. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC) working on optimizing the hydrocyclone separation performance through computational modelling for use in the pulp and paper industry.
Ehsan has experience working on projects with applications in a variety of industries including pulp and paper, environmental, mining, and oil & gas. These projects entail knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer subjects including rotational flows, multi-phase flows, free surface flows, flow in porous media, and phase change.
Dr. Zaman is also an Adjunct Professor at the UBC Faculty of Applied Science, where he teaches engineering design courses to undergraduate students on the Vancouver Campus.
