Dr. Thomas Depew joined Coanda’ Burnaby office in 2015.
His background in Physics and Engineering began with a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University. He went on to obtain his M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia where he studied Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Medical Imaging. Tom has years of experience in spectroscopy, image processing, electronics and experimentation.
Somewhere along the way Tom has become a full-fledged software developer with a broad range of practical experience implementing everything from advanced scientific analysis software, machine learning algorithms, custom data acquisition & control software and full stack web applications. He currently heads the Software Development team in Burnaby, providing custom software solutions for both in-house and client projects.
