Ehsan Zaman Ph.D.
Dr. Ehsan Zaman joined Coanda’s Burnaby office in 2018 bringing with him several years of experience in computational modelling of natural and industrial fluid dynamics phenomenon and problems. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC) working on optimizing the hydrocyclone separation performance through computational modelling for use in the pulp and paper industry.
Previously, Ehsan obtained his Master of Science in Mechanical Energy from Amirkabir University and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran. Ehsan has experience with a variety of fluid dynamics and heat transfer subjects including rotational flows, multi-phase flows, flow in porous media, and phase change.
Ehsan is also a sessional instructor at the Faculty of Applied Science at UBC, where he teaches engineering design courses to undergraduate students on Vancouver Campus.
