Ghazaleh Mirakhori Ph.D.

Dr. Ghazaleh Mirakhori earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and her Master’s degree in Process Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran. She later moved to Montreal, where she obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal.
Her doctoral dissertation, titled ”Development of a Model-Free Radioactive Particle Tracking (RPT) Technique for Hydrodynamic Characterization of Industrial-Scale Reactors,” focused on expanding the application of the RPT technique to characterize the hydrodynamics of multiphase reactors on a larger, industrial scale.
Ghazaleh joined Coanda’s Data Science group at our headquarters in Burnaby in 2025, bringing expertise in fluid dynamics, data science, machine learning, and process automation, developed through her multidisciplinary Ph.D. project.
