Coanda Scientist appointed President of NAMF

Coanda Research & Development is pleased to announce that Dr. Clara Gomez will serve as President of the North American Mixing Forum (NAMF) for the next two years. Dr. Gomez is a senior Engineering Scientist with Coanda with significant experience in rheological characterization of complex fluids. She has worked on a wide range of experimental programs applying advanced measurement methodologies for mixing applications including non-Newtonian fluids.
NAMF is a multidisciplinary, international group affiliated with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) which focuses on promoting scholarship, research and education in the field of industrial mixing. The organization brings together researchers from the pharmaceutical, chemical, and energy industries as well as academia.
Dr. Gomez’s role as President will be kicked off at the upcoming Mixing XXVI Conference in Puerto Rico later this month.
